Web Developer Intern

Our web marketing team is looking for a part-time Web developer Intern. As part of a team, the candidate will assist in the production of layouts and posting of content on the corporate web sites, which include deployment of internal and/or external Web pages. Acts as team member, assisting in the design, implementation, testing and deployment of new content and updates to the Web site.

Responsibilities

1. Manage all content on corporate web sites.
2. Timely and accurately execute updates and/or corrections for a large volume of pages.
3. Complete data-entry assignments for major content initiatives.
4. Produce web-ready images using existing style guides web graphic production software (Photoshop.)

Requirements

Majors Desired: Computer Science, Information Technology, MIS
Status: Junior and above
Rate: $12.00-$15.00 per hour
Students who are invited to continue internships in the fall and spring semesters can work 15 to 30 hours per week.

The successful candidate MUST have development experience in JavaScript, Dynamic HTML, ASP, VBscript, ASP.net, and developing applications against Microsoft SQL server. Experience with Microsoft development environment including Visual Studio is a plus. Good written and verbal communication skills are a must. Candidates MUST have experience with programming and languages such as JAVA and HTML
